For the second consecutive year, the second edition of the Sergio García Junior Championship, a tournament valid for the world amateur golf ranking, has been hosted at the Mediterráneo Golf facilities.

The tournament, which was played under the 54-hole Stroke Play format, brought together a total of 84 players of different nationalities and they competed for the prize in both the men's and women's categories.

In the men's classification, the player Francisco Gavilan Fernandez, a player who is studying this year at the Sergio Garcia Golf Academy, won the victory with rounds of 73-71-73 for a total of 217 strokes, differentiating by two strokes Miguel Fuertes Bordeaux, Santiago Juesas Benet and Raul Gomez Montalvan with a total of 219 strokes.

In the women's classification, the Spanish Balma Davalos Guaita, a Mediterraneo Golf player, won with rounds of 78-74-70 for a total of 222 strokes, differentiating her closest pursuer, Gabriela Rincon de la Torre, by six strokes. a total of 228, occupying third position with a total of 229 strokes we find the player Claudia Portillo Navas and the Chinese player Xinyi Gu.
