For the third consecutive year, the Sergio García Junior Championship has been held at the facilities of Mediterráneo Golf, a tournament that counts towards the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).

The event, played in a 54-hole Stroke Play format, gathered a total of 76 players from various nationalities who competed for the title in both the boys’ and girls’ categories.

In the boys’ division, Juan Miro Asorey claimed victory with rounds of 72-69-73, totaling 214 strokes, finishing just one shot ahead of Marc Quintana Garcia, who posted scores of 66-75-74 for a total of 215 strokes. In third place was Francisco Gavilan Fernandez, who shot 76-73-72, finishing with a total of 221 strokes.

In the girls’ division, Spanish player Carlota Lopez Rodriguez secured the win with rounds of 74-72-70, for a total of 216 strokes. She finished five strokes ahead of her closest competitor, Daniela Montolio Reyes, who carded 77-73-71 for a total of 221 strokes. The third-place position was shared by Carlota Lopez Minguela and Chinese player Xinyi Gu, both finishing with 222 strokes.

In addition to their trophies, both winners will have the opportunity to participate as invited players in one of the AJGA (American Junior Golf Association) tournaments in 2025, where they will compete against some of the best junior golfers in the world.
